Founder
Hi, I’m Annie – the founder of Annie Me. I started Annie Me with a simple goal: to help children build strong English skills in a warm and encouraging environment. With years of experience in teaching and a deep love for language, I wanted to create a space where learning feels personal, engaging, and inspiring.
At Annie Me, every lesson is designed to support your child’s growth – not just in English, but in confidence, creativity, and communication.

Meet the teachers
Experts in giving your children best start
Our teachers are committed to our centre’s guidelines of teaching complete lessons comprising of all aspects of a language with strong emphasis on Grammar development, supported by listening, comprehension and speaking. Our pupils are also trained to master writing – both creative and informative, because, yes, there is a significant difference between the two.
Teacher Annie
With 60 years of experience in education, Teacher Annie (yes, THE Teacher Annie!) was a scholarship student, earning her Degree in Education in the 1960s. Today, she jokingly refers to herself as a ‘dinosaur’ in teaching English, having been educated by the British during the pre-Merdeka days.
Teacher Peter
With 18 years of teaching experience under his belt, Teacher Peter brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom. Graduating from RMIT, Australia, with a solid foundation in education and he further honed his skills with a teaching degree from Cambridge. Peter’s teaching philosophy revolves around making English lessons engaging and enjoyable for his students while ensuring they grasp all the necessary concepts. He strives to infuse fun and creativity into every lesson, fostering a dynamic learning environment where students thrive.
Teacher Steven
Teaching has been Teacher Steven’s passion for over a decade until now. Overall, he is zealous about strengthening grammar and teaching creative writing. As a teacher, He is aware that children nowadays seldom read and it becomes his priority to enlighten them on real-world topics and important ideas. A graduate from the University of Massachusetts (U.S.A), he tends to adopt an open-minded way of teaching. He encourages students to give their opinions and even to challenge his ideas with their own. His classes are both interesting and exciting as he introduces students to a host of topics not normally taught in their schools. In the long run, his commitment to teaching will be seen in the development of his students as they mature in their grammar, writing and reading. He has developed my lessons in a way that is easy to follow.

Teacher Suzan
With a strong passion for teaching, Teacher Suzan has spent the past 2 years teaching English. Currently pursuing a double degree in Business & Commerce and Computer Science at Monash University, she blends technical knowledge with effective communication skills to create an engaging learning experience. Enthusiastic about working with children, Suzan enjoys fostering curiosity and creativity in the classroom, making lessons both interactive and enjoyable for students.
Teacher Sharmila
With experience teaching students at home and part-time at a tuition center, Teacher Sharmila brings creativity and dedication to the classroom. A graduate of Sunway University with a degree in Design Communication, she has a strong command of English and a deep appreciation for effective communication. She ensures that students master grammar, comprehension and writing while building confidence in expressing themselves. By fostering a dynamic and supportive environment, she helps students think critically, articulate ideas clearly and continuously improve. With patience, adaptability and passion, she strives to make every lesson a meaningful experience.
